Internship Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

A Marketing specialist should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.

The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth

Job Description:

  • Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned

The intern will learn:

  • Most marketing degree programs require the completion of an internship in addition to the standard instructor-led courses.
  • Many students are just beginning their marketing careers and lack on-the-job experience, which makes the internship an important step in landing a first marketing job.
  • Internships are typically short-term, lasting anywhere from several weeks to a couple of months, and are designed to apply the knowledge gained from classroom instruction to the real world by exposing the individual to the essential responsibilities of a marketing representative.

Administrative:

  • It’s not uncommon for a marketing intern to provide administrative support to the marketing team. This is accomplished through tasks such as data entry, preparing marketing materials, maintaining the company’s website or building project databases.
  • Interns might also be tasked with drafting internal and external correspondence for items such as announcements and promotions. This exposes the inexperienced candidate to basic principles of marketing and gives them a better understanding of how data are collected.

Research:

  • A marketing intern will also learn how to collect, research and analyze data. Because an intern is probably unfamiliar with this process, she will do the job under the direct supervision of an experienced marketing representative.
  • Common tasks include gathering information regarding competitors’ products and services, conducting interviews with consumers and focus groups, or compiling data through the use of surveys or questionnaires.
  • This information is then reviewed with the marketing team to determine what changes or improvements should be made to boost sales or reduce costs.

Creativity:

  • Businesses rely on marketing staff to create unique and appealing designs for logos, media materials and merchandise. Interns may be given a chance to explore the creative process by assisting with the creation of client projects or learning how to use design software.
  • Depending on the intern’s comfort level and experience, he might learn through job shadowing a mentor or by directly contributing his ideas and designs to the assignment.

Communication:

  • Often, the marketing department is considered to be the face of a company due to the large amount of face-to-face interaction it has with the public.
  • Interns often gain experience with the public side of mark

Application Deadline: 16.1.2019

Internship Start date: 31.1.2019

Duration: 3 month then full-time job upon the performance upraised for the past period.

Internship Requirements

  • Fresh graduate of a private university.
  • Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods is a plus.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) is a plus
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
