Job Description:
- You are responsible for the investigation to determine the origin and cause of failure/s to electrical and electronic equipment and/or machinery and to identify the reason for the failure of the equipment.
- You will need to collect evidence, photograph the scene, conduct interviews and provide detailed reports outlining the cause of failure. You will have client interaction on a regular basis. You will need to provide expert testimony in a court of law on the causation.

Internship Requirements
- Damage assessment to Electrical & Electronic equipment
- Electrical failures in medium, high&extra high voltage ranges including transmission cables,
- switch gear equipment, uninterruptible power supply units, induction motors, turbine generators,
- distribution power and generator transformers, emergency diesel generators, uninterruptible p.supply
- Electrical inspection ranges from High voltage to low voltage substations
- Doing testing, commissioning & maintenance of electrical installation up to 33kV
- Doing insulation test, dead phasing and pressure test
- Locate cable fault
- Carry out HV current transformer test (Magnetizing Curve test, Polarity Check Test, etc)
- Investigate failures in the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems
