Events Intern

Job Description:

• This role is for someone who is passionate about events and wants to pursue a career in the industry. You will work directly with the Head of our Events Department and you will be actively involved with the rest of the Modus team from Cairo and from the US. You will be involved in all aspects of event organising and at the end of your internship, you will be confident in organising a corporate event independently.

The intern will learn:

• You will be part of our daily / weekly briefings and brainstorming sessions
• You will be actively involved in all aspects of implementing our events strategy (event production, operations, marketing and sales)
• You will learn how to build a successful events business model, how to create sponsorship and exhibition packages and market them to the right audiences
• You will be carry out market research and build and maintain our leads database in Excel
• You will liaise with our content team in creating the right content for our different types of events
• You will play a key role in operations, i.e finding the right venue, music, catering etc
• You will get to participate in all the events organised by our department and interact with the Modus community of entrepreneurs, business leaders, decision makers and investors
