Job Description:
- This role is great for someone who wants to pursue a career as a business reporter or journalist. You will work with the Modus team in Cairo, especially with the Events team, as well as with our Chief Brand Storyteller, who is based in the US. Half of your role is to research trends, events, the other half is to curate and create quality content from events that Modus organise.
The intern will learn:
- You will participate in our group brainstorming sessions
- You will support our Chief Brand Officer and the Social Media Manager Intern with research on trends, news, events from the MENA region, the entrepreneurial scene. Your research will be key to our content strategy
- You will also support the Modus Events department in their content strategy, curating and creating content
- You will be actively involved in creating and managing our Docu Series
- You will post live Tweets and updates from events we organise
- You will network with and interview entrepreneurs who participate at Modus Events

Internship Requirements
- Proficient in written English & Arabic
- Some journalistic experience is a plus
- Ability to stick to deadlines is very important
- Attention to detail is also crucial
- Positive attitude, must be happy to learn from constructive feedback
