Internship Description
Phase 1:
To be done during July, August and September, during which we will :
- Build monitoring and control system for indoor/outdoor farms for the following,
- Field sensing i.e Soil Moisture, Weather Temperature and Humidity, PH, Water TDS/Nutrients.
- Light luminosity sensing.
- VoC (volatile organic compounds) sensing.
- Build Nutrients and PH dosing system to adjust the water for the soilless growing method.
- Develop cloud-based processing/visualization for the aggregated data.
Phase 2:
To be done after September by the selected teams, as a system enhancement during their graduation project, we will work on,
- Develop optical sensing device (i.e NIR) for agriculture and aquaculture sensing.
- Image analysis of Plant leaves to identify deficiencies, infections or other stresses using AI based image processing.
- Predictive analysis of the aggregated data for early decision making.

Internship Requirements
- Embedded system students excellent at C programming, H.W interfacing, and algorithms development.
- Computer science, computer and communication engineers.
- Graduates or to be graduated by 2019.
- Higher priority for who consider this project as part of his graduation project.
