Job Summary:
This internship is designed to give experience for the interns in the various manufacturing processes, manufacturing considerations and assembly consideration. The participants have to review an initial design of a photo-voltaic cleaning robot, and then have to deal with manufacturing workshops (forming and machining) throughout the internship. The participants have to work in a team in order to reach their objective, which is a fully functional prototype of a Photo-voltaic cleaning robot.

Job Description:
- Reviewing the initial design of the cleaning robot and modifying the design if needed.
- Doing the working drawings and bill of materials of the final design.
- Validating the mechanical design by stress analysis and dynamic simulations.
- Planning the manufacturing and assembly phases as well as the budget of the project.
- Validating the electrical design of the cleaning robot and building the bill of material for it.
- Designing, fabricating and validating the PCBs needed for the project
- Supervising the manufacturing processes of the cleaning robot.
- Responsible for the assembly of the cleaning robot and overcoming any roadblocks in order to reach this objective.
- Responsible for programming the cleaning robot, in order to reach a fully functioning prototype.

Internship Requirements
Requirements:
- Good command of Solid works or Inventor and doing working drawings
- Mechanical production, mechatronics, and manufacturing students are preferred
- Previous knowledge of electrical design and embedded programming (if the intern wants to be responsible for this part of the project)
- Problem solving, Time management, Team work and negotiating skills are required
- Worked on similar projects before is a plus
- All universities are illegible to apply but ASU students are preferable
- 2nd & 3rd grade only can apply
