Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
Accounting Oversight: Supervise the entire accounting cycle and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all journal entries and financial records.
Period-End Closings: Prepare, review, and manage monthly and annual financial close processes.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and executive management reports to support strategic decision-making.
Tax Compliance: Oversee tax liabilities and ensure accurate, timely submission of all tax returns in full compliance with Egyptian tax laws.
Internal Controls: Implement, enforce, and continuously optimize internal control systems and accounting procedures.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Compliance & Standards: Guarantee full compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and company financial policies.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
Leadership Experience: Proven track record in managing, leading, and developing an accounting team.
Tax Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Egyptian tax system, E-Invoicing and all related tax compliance requirements.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Excel.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and proven problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
