Study and analyze tender documents (Specs, Drawings, Bill of Quantities [BOQ]) from a technical point of view and validate the received studies from the engineers and vendors.
Identify risk factors and ensure that technical terms comply with the relevant standards.
Create project cost estimates in terms of the required material as per BOQ, amount of work, material / equipment and manpower requirements during the tendering phase, this includes all systems, products and services to client specifications / requirements.
Negotiate & follow-up with vendors / subcontractors / Consultant to get their technical / commercial offers on time.
Ensure that any inquiries or clarifications (Request for Information- RFI) are raised to the client.
Carry out Value engineering studies to meet the client budget constrains
Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data and keep estimation records for future tender and cost evaluations.
Inquire, consult and coordinate with client & consultant representatives for specification/ technical and BOQ clarifications required for tenders and proposals and attends pre-tender meetings.
Finalize estimation of all direct, suggest necessary indirect costs, and consolidate tender documents for management review and approval.
Provides all the necessary project clarifications/ information upon project award to the Project Manager as per the project budget; advises the Project Manager on contractual rights, remedies which has been taken into consideration during tendering.
Generates required tender reports highlighting status / progress
Prepare comparative analysis documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and mode of transportation.
Engaged in the preparation & compilation of the necessary documents, information & technical inputs required for the completion of tender documentation.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
