Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Tax and General Accountant to join our team at Wealth Advisory.
As a key member of our accounting department, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in tax preparation, financial reporting, and audit support.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Support senior staff in audit engagements by preparing workpapers and assisting in fieldwork procedures.
Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the accounting department.
Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and tax concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA candidate or willingness to pursue CPA certification is a plus.
