Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team located in Sohag. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company procedures. The accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle thw daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Process and manage payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Review and verify all financial transactions and documents.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system.
Address accounting-related issues and inquiries from other departments.
