Job Description
- Manage the full-cycle onboarding process, including preparing and delivering orientation sessions, completing paperwork, and facilitating necessary training.
- Ensure a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience by providing all necessary information, tools, and resources to new hires.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure new employees are set up for success, including system access, equipment, and introductions to team members.
- Conduct personalized onboarding sessions that align with company culture, policies, and values.
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials, presentations, and documentation that reflect the company’s brand and culture.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure new employees are introduced to key departments and have the information they need to get started.
- Collect and analyze feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding process and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and company-specific requirements related to new hire paperwork and onboarding procedures.
- Track and report on key onboarding metrics to measure the effectiveness of the program and make data-driven improvements.
- Support the ongoing development of employee engagement initiatives to help retain and develop new hires.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior onboarding specialists, assisting in their professional growth and development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in onboarding, HR, or employee experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and onboarding software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace).
