Job brief:
E-Commerce last Mile Specialist role is responsible for managing the company's overall operations and logistics strategy in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity, and ensure that the management of supply, demand, purchase, inbound and last mile logistics, warehouse, planning and scheduling of relevant operational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating, implementing and monitoring distribution strategies, processes and plans.
- Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures for documenting department activities and actions.
- Monitoring of KPIs with distribution service providers and following up to understand root causes.
- Analytic Reporting to reduce lead-time and costs associated with customer demands and expectations.
- Follow up when an order is below SLA and call Drivers.
- Working to provide corrective actions to improve on-time delivery.
- Provide proper course of action to customers to guarantee their satisfaction.
- Identify standard problems within the delivery cycle and makes a recommendation to provide a solution to achieve customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Business administration or related field.
- No previous experience needed.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Experience in customer service is a plus.
- Must be able to work virtually, work nights, and weekends.
- Exceptionally strong customer handling and conflict resolution skills.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive approach to problem-solving and identification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proficiently manage multiple tasks/projects while staying organized in day-to-day activities.
- Work is generally performed in an office environment.
