Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of IT-related issues through excellent service and timely problem resolution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing remote or on-site support as needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document and track support requests, resolutions, and preventive measures.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT knowledge base articles and documentation.
- Provide end-user training and support on various applications and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support , or equivalent are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent command of both written & spoken English.
