Job Description
Job Purpose Statement:
- Responsible for the general ledger accounting of a company, including accountability for Fixed Assets accounting; working closely with Accounts Payable, Receivables, Banking and treasury to ensure continuous alignment.
- Reviewing all the detailed information related to receivable accounts, payable accounts and making the required reconciliation.
- Helping the manager in the preparation of the different reports and analysis.
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify daily activity in Bank accounts.
- Prepare the necessary allocations.
- Ensure that customer receivables balances are regularly reconciled with clients.
- Ensure that Invoices are issued in compliance with payment terms and prices contracted.
- Preparation of Receivables aging reports to management.
- Regular revision of customer accounts to propose adjustments to inactive accounts, provisions and write-offs.
- Review all Expenses for appropriate documentation for approval before payment.
- Ensure that all Expenses have the appropriate signatures and are distributed accordingly.
- Control of all accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of month-end financial statements, cash flow statements and budgets.
- Assist with year-end audits.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly and annual tax filing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in commerce
- 2+ years of related experience
- Proficient user of MS Office (excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent reporting skills.
- Very good at the English language.
