The IT Support Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the company’s IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, and networking protocols.Responsibilities:– System Administration: – Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.– Monitor system performance and identify and resolve issues.– Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.– Manage user accounts and permissions.– Network Administration: – Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure.– Security Administration: – Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company’s IT systems and data.– Monitor security logs and identify and respond to security threats.– Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments.– Other Responsibilities: – Provide technical support to users.– Stay up to date on the latest IT trends and technologies.– Participate in IT projects and initiatives.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Experience: Experience in system administration, Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD.Skills:– Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, and networking protocols– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
