Job Purpose Ensure timely placement and renewal of applicable insurance policies for all Dragon Oil entities and act as a focal point for all insurance-related matters. Support the Manager and Controller of the Section in ensuring tax compliance with tax laws and regulations where Dragon Oil operates and provide tax advice to other departments. Contribute towards improving the financial governance systems, including closing audit observations, improvement to policies and procedures as well as risk management. Job Responsibilities Ensure timely placement of all required insurance for all entities of Dragon Oil with a particular focus on the Turkmenistan energy insurance package. Ensure timely placement and renewal of the statutory insurance in Turkmenistan and liaise with local insurance companies. With inputs from the ENOC Group Insurance team, prepare insurance strategy for Dragon Oil, benchmarking with peer groups, and collecting strategic and technical information for the annual energy insurance roadshow. Coordinate the asset valuation exercise by providing accurate fixed asset information to the valuators and coordinate with the technical departments to provide the required technical specifications of the assets. Support the risk engineering survey conducted by an external party by coordinating with the technical departments to provide the required technical information and arrange meetings and field visits. Perform administrative and logistics activities including but not limited to arranging visas for brokers, risk engineers, ENOC Group Insurance team, raising purchase requisition, payment of invoices etc. Coordinate with ENOC Group Insurance team in handling insurance claims, through timely reporting the incidents and collecting all the required information and supporting documents to ensure maximum claim settlement. In coordination with the ENOC Group Insurance team, address the queries of other departments about insurance as well as close the audit observations concerning insurance. Prepare monthly accounting entries related to the actualization of the annual insurance premium. Perform other insurance-related tasks assigned by the Manager and Controller of the Section when and as required. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or business studies, preferably with a specialization in international Tax Minimum 8 years of finance and accounting experience, 2 - 3 years related to insurance, tax and financial governance. Preference for Russian speaking considering communication with the authorities in Turkmenistan.
