Network Security Engineer

The Security Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the Company Security network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networking and network security concepts and protocols, along with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network.Responsibilities:Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation:Supporting and operating the Palo Alto securityenvironment, making necessary adjustments andimprovements.Supporting and operating gateway firewall security environment, making necessary adjustments and improvements.Supporting network infrastructure components,including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers,and VPNs.Configuring and maintaining firewall services to ensurehigh availability and optimal performance.Design and evaluate network infrastructure.AutomationPlatform Management and Optimization:Monitor and optimize the performance of firewallsecurity environments.Managing security platforms and systems such asVPNs, security policy, application security, andLoggingOptimizing security platforms for scalability, reliability,and security.Security and Compliance:Implementing and enforcing network securitymeasures, including access controls, firewalls, andintrusion detection/prevention systems.Ensuring compliance with industry standards and bestpractices for network security.Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:Monitoring network performance, analyzing trafficpatterns, and identifying areas for improvement.Investigating and resolving firewalls and network issues, including performance degradation and connectivity problems.Collaboration and Integration:Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integratenetwork services with other systems andapplications.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Saudi NationalityProficiency in network protocols, routing, switching and network security principles.Proven experience as a security engineer with a successful track record of designing and deploying firewall solutions with Palo AltoProven experience in Palo Alto with Panorama and PAN-OSProven Experience in supporting and managing enterprise-level firewall infrastructure and platforms.Strong Knowledge of firewall technologies.Strong knowledge of Linux OS, and Python programming languageCertified CCNP/JNCISCertified Google Cloud Professional Network EngineerPalo Alto Certificates (Preferably, PCNSA, PCNSE)
