IT Purchasing Manager

The IT Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of IT-related products and services for LAWAZEM. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their specific IT purchasing needs, develop procurement strategies, and manage vendor relationships. You will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards for IT equipment and services.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with IT teams and department heads to identify IT purchasing needs and requirements.Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for IT-related products and services.Source and evaluate vendors and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.Monitor and manage vendor performance, resolving any issues or conflicts that arise.Coordinate with finance and budgeting teams to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.Oversee the purchase approval process, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.Track and manage IT inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.Stay updated on market trends and new technologies in IT procurement.Collaborate with IT teams to optimize inventory management and identify cost-saving opportunities.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven work experience as an IT Purchasing Manager or similar role.Strong knowledge of IT products, vendors, and procurement processes.Experience with negotiation and contract management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with vendors.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in using procurement software and tools.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
