Job Summary:
The Hotel Reservations Agent will be responsible for handling all aspects of guest reservations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the accuracy of booking information. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
  • Provide detailed information about hotel services, room availability, rates, and promotions to potential guests.
  • Assist guests with any changes or cancellations to their existing reservations.
  • Ensure all reservation information is accurately entered into the hotel management system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the front desk and sales teams to optimize room sales and occupancy.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and local attractions to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Follow up with guests post-stay to solicit feedback and enhance future bookings.

 

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
