Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end components for web applications using the Laravel PHP framework
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Stay updated on Laravel updates and industry trends to continuously improve development practices
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development with a focus on back-end technologies
- Proficiency in PHP and experience with the Laravel framework
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, including database design and optimization
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue.js or React.js
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
