Job Description
- Commercial Contracts:
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and other essential contracts for company operations, ensuring alignment with both international and national legal standards.
- Labor Law Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, regulations, and employment standards at the local, state, and national levels in Egypt, while integrating international legal principles where applicable.
- Employment Contracts:
- Skilfully review, draft, and negotiate employment contracts, agreements, and policies in harmony with labor laws and company objectives, combining expertise in both international and Egyptian legal frameworks.
- Corporate Regulations:
- Stay abreast of evolving corporate regulations in Egypt and provide guidance on compliance requirements, corporate governance, and international best practices.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential legal risks in labor and commercial matters, crafting robust strategies for mitigation that reflect understanding of international and national legal landscapes.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to effectively manage labor-related disputes and commercial litigation matters, leveraging expertise in both international and Egyptian legal procedures.
- Policy Development:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies concerning labor, commercial, and corporate matters, ensuring strict adherence to Egyptian laws and integrating international legal standards where relevant.
- Litigation Management:
- Coordinate with internal teams(HR & GRC) and external counsel to oversee commercial litigation matters and disputes, employing a comprehensive understanding of both international and national legal protocols.
Job Requirements
- Law degree from an accredited institution.
- Active license to practice law in Egypt, with proficiency in international law.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate legal advisor, specializing in labor law, commercial law, and corporate regulations in Egypt, with a keen understanding of international legal principles.
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws, commercial laws, and corporate regulations pertinent to the industry in Egypt, augmented by insights into international legal norms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, honed through experience in navigating complex legal matters.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, adapting seamlessly to diverse legal environments.
- Exemplary ethical standards and unwavering professional integrity, essential for upholding legal principles in all aspects of work.
