Job Description
- Review and proofread written materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and style errors.
- Ensure consistency in language, formatting, and style across all documents.
- Evaluate the dimensions of page elements such as images, text spacing and positioning to ensure they conform to set specifications.
- Collaborate with writers and editors to clarify content and address any discrepancies.
- Rephrase written text to ensure document structure and content are consistent in case of need.
- Verify facts, dates, and statistics to ensure accuracy.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in language usage.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Arabic, English
- Travel-related / Tourism terminology is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a proofreader or editor.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (if applicable).
