Job Description
Develops existing business and explore new business opportunities.
Formulates and implements short term, medium term and long term business development plans of the company.
Clearly identify and note down company’s goals along with measures required to achieve them.
Analyzes industry trends and does competitor benchmarking.
Ensures sufficient finances, materials, manpower and other resources are available with the firm to implement the business development plans.
Designs, builds and implements business models. Do cost benefits analyses for the business plan on hand.
Tries to get more business from existing customers and also hunts for new customers.
Liaises and work together with various stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, employees, contractors, and senior management to grow the business. Networks on a regular basis with these stakeholders to explore new ideas and initiatives.
Read business journals and attend seminars & workshops to be abreast of latest trends and happening
Sets future plans for business development projects (new products acquisitions, new facilities acquisition, potential therapeutic area to invest in, ….etc.)
Analysis the product portfolio regularly to enrich the product pipeline and to decide on the existing products.
