Job Description
- The development, Implementation and Maintenance of the QHSE Management System;
- To monitor, measure & analyze the performance of the QHSE Management Systems implementation & identify the need for further improvements
- The certification of the management system against recognized International Standards.
- Coordination of QHSE interfaces and aspects with Business Units/Departments, Projects, Sub-contractors, and certifying bodies.
- Coordination of corrective action follow up after audits and customer complaints.
- To train all concerned on ISO 9001:2000 & the documented QHSE management system there by ensuring the promotion of the awareness of the customer requirement & achieving the quality objectives at function level.
- To ensure all legal requirements are identified and implemented as well as HSE targets are met.
- To develop and monitor QHSE KPI's / Objectives and Management Program (HSE).
- Insurance of adequate Emergency Response structure and procedures including the necessary resources for the company and the projects
- The development and implementation of QHSE year plans including audits, management reviews etc. and other tools such as KPI’s, and a incentive program Initiate, develop and/or provide QHSE training, meetings, seminars etc. Coordinate adequate communication and knowledge transfer with regard to the QHSE System and regulations
- Manage the compliance with legislation where appropriate; Create needed reports and develop proper reporting tools/mechanism. Responsible for QHSE budget
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business or similar
- Minimum 15 years of industrial experience, 10 years of QHSE experience, and 5 years in similar position.
- Experience in planning & conducting Internal Audits Additional Training/Certification in IOSH, Incident Investigation, Auditing
- Demonstrate skills in the following areas: Positive Attitude Leadership Independence Human Interaction and Communication Product and Quality orientated Improvement readiness Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness
