Job Description
- Communicate with each client to gain a vision of what the client wants
- Writing Software Requirements Specification (SRS)
- Research the market in which the product will be sold to find product trends and try to gain a competitive edge on other designs
- Consult with UI/UX designers to create wireframes and prototypes and work with technical marketing engineers to ensure a successful launch of the product
- Creating product roadmap(s) and story map(s) for a portfolio of mobile applications
- Developing project charter(s), collaborating with key stakeholders (ranging from management to customers) to define
- Develop, shape and refine requirements of a complex software product
- Visiting the customer(s) often and inviting them for feedback
- Translating business requirements to personals and clear user stories for the Agile development teams
- Prioritizing user stories and aligning features to business & technical domain rules and overall product and business goals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (UI/UX Designers, Software Developers, Software Testers, Marketing) throughout feature definition and execution
- Assisting in Acceptance Testing of new product(s) and feature(s)
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported, analyzed and resolved in a timely manner, and determines if escalation is required while retaining ownership throughout
- Responsible for documenting and communicating any processes that the business would have to implement once the new feature / enhancement is released
- Coordinate and facilitate conference room pilot and demo sessions with various user groups to review planned enhancements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
- 3+ years working experience in Business Systems Analyst
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate to various levels of management
- Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency and commitment to accuracy and the ability to handle ambiguity
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments
- Excellent organizational skills
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase process/system efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall business improvement
- Excellent computer skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel (pivot tables, lookup, and macros), Word and PowerPoint
