Description
- Place Purchase Orders according to the purchasing schedule
- Follow/monitor the Purchase Order until goods are delivered as per order requirements
- Converts the PO to the supplier & requests a PI for Pre approvals in which making sure that the quantities & price mentioned in PO are in accordance with PI.
- Managing, checking and authorising all relevant documentation i.e. invoices, Certificates, etc. ensuring full traceability of the products and adhering to FTF standards
- Place purchase/sales orders in the system according to customer demand or end of month process
- Organize/follow up/monitor the logistics of all international orders
- Provide all necessary documentation accompanying the stock depending on the country of destination
- Preparation of presentations, reporting and analysis
- Coordinating with the Sales team, Production, Accounts, Excise, Design, Projects departments
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/logistic from Reputable university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of operations and logistics is a MUST.
- Domain knowledge of Project management in any field for 3-4 years.
- Should have knowledge of SAP ERP system with at least 2-3years of hands-on-training in any type of industry.
- Good communication skills in writing and spoken languages & should have fluency in English speaking.
- Should have in-depth knowledge of material logistics to different zones namely SEZ, Domestic & international freights.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures desirable.
- Should be ready to travel and meet customers.
- Have knowledge of different types of payment terms and meanings of terms related to finance namely ABG, PBG, LC, LOI & LD...
- Should be able to negotiate and plan transportation with freight carriers.
- Saving in freight over and above than quotes by sales in Purchase order.
- Preferred Industry: Compressed air, gas and vacuum solutions.
