Job Description
- Identify project requirements and thus design systems and products.
- Research suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales.
- Design electrical networks as per requirements and standard loads.
- Make models and prototypes of products using three-dimensional design software.
- Fully aware of the United States (US), European (EN) and other standards.
- Record, analyze and interpret test data.
- Propose modifications and retesting products.
- Qualify and approve the final product or system.
- Handle servicing and maintaining equipment.
- Prepare product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations.
- Monitor a product in use to improve on future design.
- Maintain and update the project manager to facilitate timely reporting, cost effective recommendations and goal achievement.
- Prepare and present feasibility reports to higher management.
- Ensure and coordinate the execution of project activities to assure that the highest safety and quality standards are maintained for the design.
- Support with the QA/QC team leader the quality assurance and control of contractor, subcontractors and suppliers in the electrical engineering discipline.
- Coordinate with other engineers’ issues within the project; alignment on project design standards and discussions on risk / deviations / derogation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in residential projects.
- Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree.
