Job Description
- Design and estimate new features for our Global Commerce Suite together with other technical and non-technical team members
- Implement new features and business logic in Java using the various JEE technologies
like Java Server Pages, Servlets, JDBC, JAX-WS, JAX-RS and others - Extend data structures and data access logic in our data layer (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Integrate 3 party solutions using web services technologies as well as message transformations (XPath, XSLT) and other EAI solutions
- Implement and execute functional and non-functional tests
- Resolve 2nd level HelpDesk tickets
Job Requirements
- You hold a master’s degree in computer science or any comparable education, and have work experience of at least three years in the software development business
- You have exceptional knowledge programming Java and especially in JEE technologies like Java Server Pages, Servlets, JDBC, JAX-WS, JAXB, JAX-RS as well as XML, XSD, SOAP, WSDL
- You have a profound understanding of object oriented design and experience with enterprise Java application architecture
- You understand the design of relational databases and can develop SQL
- Experience with Linux operating systems like (Debian, CoreOS) is appreciated
- You’re a team player and have excellent communication skills. You are highly motivated to find solutions for challenging tasks
- Experience with agile methodologies are appreciated
