Job Description
- Responsible for the research, scoping , designing and development of our android app.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement best practices for developing Android applications targeting multiple phone and tablet devices.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements.
- Deal with tight deadlines, changing requirements and priorities.
- Identify, correct bottleneck and work on bug fixing to improve application performance.
- Keep up to date, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance the application functionality.
- Work with Graphic Designers and Software Developers to realize, build, and test the applications and to implement server APIs (Application Programming Interface) and services to support planned mobile functionality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Solid experience in Android development and Android SDK.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs and published at least one original Android app.
- General knowledge in mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
