Job Description
- Revise and evaluate tenders and projects for estimation of total costs.
- Revise and prepare drawings and schedules.
- Prepare material lists and Send enquiries to suppliers for material requests.
- Prepare comparison studies based on different suppliers.
- Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of projects
- Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies.
- Well versed using AutoCAD, TEKLA, and in both manufacturing and civil/architectural environments (Soildworks is a plus).
- Knowledge of ASME &drawing standards.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS project, Word and Excel.
- Prepare and/or modify mechanical part drawings with annotations, tolerances and standards.
- Generally assist engineering in organizational and technical needs as they arise.
Job Requirements
- Engineering Bachelor Degree
- Experience 5 years (Steel Structure Pricing and Plate Work)
- English Language
