Job Description
- Supervise and control the execution of project/product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates.
- Perform inspection reviews for project/product Requirements and Specification deliverables.
- Develop Test Plan based on company Test Strategy and project/product nature.
- Provide the project/product estimates.
- Develop, document and maintain different types of Test Cases and Test Data.
- Perform the different Test Types required by the project/product requirements.
- Automate the Test cases using Automation tools.
- Report the found defects using the available Defect Management software.
- Develop the User Manuals, Operation Manuals, Online help and any other user-related documents.
- Prepare the Traceability Matrix between the Requirements, Specifications and Test Cases.
- Provide the required support at User Acceptance Test and Production time for clients.
- Provide the Management with the suitable status reports for projects/products issues and escalate the bad Quality of the interdepartmental deliverables and final releases to the Management.
- Responsible on conducting the required training, coaching and awareness sessions for the new QC Team members.
- Help in suggesting ongoing quality improvements for the settled processes and implementing them.
- Directly supervises Test Engineers and their activities during the project/product.
- Help the Quality Manager on selecting, interviewing and hiring QC Team member and conduct the performance evaluations and career development activities.
- Help the Quality Manager on selecting the suitable Software tools for QA team and other related departments.
Job Requirements
- 5 year experience in Software Testing/Software Quality Control.
- 1-2 year experience as Software Quality Control Team Leader.
- Solid experience in SQL query and using TOAD.
- Experience different types of testing types (Smoke testing, system testing, functional testing, integration testing )
- Background regarding test Automation
- Background about performance and stress testing
- Excellent knowledge about time management skills.
- Excellent knowledge about risk analysis and risk assessment
