Design and build advanced applications for the (Android) platforms
Work with outside data sources and API’s
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent background and experience) required
A deep familiarity with Java and Android mobile development.
Have at least 3 published apps (please provide links).
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Programming experience in native Android application development that uses backend APIs.
Knowledge in Android IDEs, 3rd party API’s.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skill
Self-motivated and passion to learn new things and innovate
Working knowledge of general mobile software design patterns, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Understanding of OOP principles
Working knowledge with web service architecture, protocols, security and data formats (Ex. REST, OAuth, JSON, etc.)
Deep understanding of memory management practices.
Must possess excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with push notification, location services.
Familiarity with GIT / version control.
Experience working with Google Maps API’s
Experience working with SCRUM and/or Agile development environments
