System Administrator

Responsible for managing and administering IT computerized operating systems including mid-range computers, NT servers, Proxy Servers, e-mail servers, back office servers and Business middleware Applications

Primary Tasks:

• Configuring, testing, and maintaining Windows OS and related services including but not limited to active directory, exchange, business middle ware applications.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving Server Side OS problems
• Implementing required security policies on the systems layer.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all Organization Servers Systems
• Managing and maintaining Windows systems, business applications, and anti-virus protection, and email and authentication administrations.
• Implementing backup & restore process/policies including restoring for testing
• Managing and maintaining Virtualization Environment
• Ensuring and maintaining high availability and disaster recovery.
• Problem resolution, operating system patches and software.
• Upgrading and routine Server hardware configuration.
• Acting as a Backup for the Network Administrator in case of Absence
• Participating as a first line support for High management
• Participate as a second line support for end-users
• Participating in change management process
• Assisting the IT Director in any IT related issues
