Job Description
- Developing & generating new business within the scope of ocean freight FCL, LCL, Airfreight to clients across all industry sectors.
- Responsible for the managing and handling of RFQ response documents for Contract logistics business.
- Identify and lead business growth opportunities within existing client base through analysis of systems.
- Manage the commercial relationship and lead contract negotiations with existing forwarding clients as their main point of contact.
- Maintain close working relationships.
- Develops and implements customer contact plan across all levels of customers.
- Participate in service presentations to clients on a regular basis and become involved in key business community forums.
- Market & Rates procurement, analysis.
- Monitoring shipment process.
- Creating standard procedure for each customer.
- Conducting market survey on forwarding business.
- Develop / follow sales strategies and directions.
- Ensure sales process and standards are adhered to and met with company standards & procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree.
- Excellent command of both written & speaking English.
