Junior Quality Engineer

The main areas of responsibility are, and not limited to:

• Customer Concerns – Data collection, action and follow up of customer concerns
• Internal Concerns – Analysis, investigation and follow up of Internal Quality Issues
• Auditing – Schedule, Carry out, Report and follow up auditing activities on the production line.

The main areas of responsibility will be governed by the following duties:

• Investigate and coordinate customer concerns, feedback to operations team and coordinate with team leaders such that corrective actions are taken and followed up.
• Monitor quality targets and lead internal activities aimed to address and close outstanding quality issues.
• The application of quality tools, generating ideas how to permanently and robustly close customer issues (both electrically and mechanically),
• Maintenance of quality documentation and preparing technical reports for submission to clients.

Internal Audit:

• Prepare, carry out, report and follow up on internal audits for lines and cells.
• The quality engineer is responsible to ensure that the audit checks carried out are effective and specific to the process being audited. Check sheets are to be prepared and filed accordingly.
• The Quality Engineer is responsible of auditing lines providing feedback to the specific cell
• Provide actions of follow up and ensure that these actions have been undertaken.
• Review and compare actions followed up from one audit to the next scheduled audit.
• Provide details of what cells/lines have been audited and what findings / actions have been made. This is to be provided on a monthly basis.
