Project Description
A smart cane for the Lind has been designed and fabricated. The intern will participate in field test studies to evaluate and assess the reliability and functionality of the product
Scope of Work :

Conduct tests on mechanical and\or diagnostic systems, analyze results, and author reports

Conduct tests on embedded systems, analyze results, and author reports

Operate test equipment using comprehensive knowledge of best test and measurement practices

Work as a member of a project team in a dynamic environment.
- Perform all assignments in accordance with ES&H, security, and business practice requirements and policies.

Internship Requirements
- Pursuing a Mechatronics, Computer or Electronics engineering degree at Ain Shams University

Knowledge of fundamental testing practices and data processing

Knowledge of engineering hardware design and fabrication
- Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: vibration and shock measurements, experimental modal and dynamic analysis, general instrumentation (i.e. accelerators, strain gags, laser vibrometers, pressure sensors, etc.), general data acquisition theory (Nyquist criterion, anti-aliasing, etc.).
