Project Description
In this project, you will work in mechanical design of different elements (parts used in ducts work) and test rig parts, then manufacturing this part to produce a test rig that is capable of measuring the reflection coefficient of these elements. In the final step all manufactured elements will be measured. The results of this work will have a chance to participate in a scientific journal paper.
Scope of Work
- Design a test rig suitable for measuring the reflection coefficient for large elements.
- Manufacturing of needed parts.
- Assemble and test the manufactured rig.
- Perform number of acoustics measurements on the manufactured parts.

Internship Requirements
- Pursuing a Mechanical engineering degree at Ain Shams University

Good design skills.

Ability to design parts and assembly using CAD software (e.g. inventor, solid works ...etc.).

Acoustics background is a plus.
