Job Description
- Assist the lead designer with the preliminary and final plans
- Handles the supporting elements of a job including drafting, and spatial design, Furniture, accessory selection and placement, sample and catalogue library maintenance and material selections.
- Research and source materials for schemes, helping to organize client presentations, communicating with vendors and contractors, obtaining and compiling quotations, preparing estimates, order placement.
- Scheduling preparation, invoicing and communication with the customer, as well as general organization.
- Accompanies a lead designer to an initial job assessment to do a consultation, take photos and measurements, schematics and notes.
- Supervising work at the design stage and on-site
- Providing samples for clients
- Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry
- Surveying projects (Residences and Office buildings)
- Researching, recording and analyzing information
- Conducting feasibility studies for projects
- Prepare detailed drawings and designs, plans, models, schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software, 3DMAX and Revit software.
- The designer has also the responsibility to do the documentation work concerning all documents for plans and estimates and drawings.
- Review all materials delivered to the site and check it with drawings
- Quantity Surveying

- Study Project Bill of Quantities, Drawings and Schedules
- Preparation of As-built drawings
- Carry out inspection as per approved inspection and test plan and procedure
Job Requirements
- 5-8 years experience in similar position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English written and spoken.
- CAD Expert.
- 3D Max, Sketch up, Photoshop
- Organization Skills
- Management Skills
