Job Description
We are seeking a strong, adaptable and innovative Linux System Administrators with experience in open source, Linux, and networking infrastructure. Our ideal candidate should have direct hands on experience with a variety of Linux flavors (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and experience configuring and maintaining Linux servers for web hosting.
We are looking for a candidate that has technology preferences, but knows that no single solution solves every problem. We value candidates with broad and varied experience. In addition, this candidate should have the ability to move quickly while maintaining a high degree of consistency and rigor. Job Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of cPanel/WHM control panel.
- Thorough knowledge of Linux systems administration (Red Hat and CentOS preferred).
- Solid background in web services (Apache, nginx, PHP, etc.), MySQL and Exim.
- Solid background in system analysis and performance tuning.
- Ability to automate using scripts (e.g. Python, shell, etc.).
- An understanding of virtualization (e.g. VMware, Xen Server, and KVM).
- Dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected.
- Must be comfortable in self-managed and team tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Good communication skills.
