Job Description
- This role will be responsible for administering Database infrastructure to ensure highest availability, operations and security.
- The candidate will be responsible for on-going database maintenance, troubleshooting issues that affect applications and performance.
- He is required to actively provide support for developers during projects and/or enhancements on existing applications.
Job Requirements
- Higher levels of education in IT ( University or equivalent)
- Certification in Oracle 10g and 11g (RAC technology preferred)
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Oracle database design, both physical and logical for Oracle 10g/11g
- Expertise in creation of Oracle Databases manually in different environment
- Proficiency in installation, upgrades and migration of Oracle databases
- Familiarity with SQL queries and memory tuning
- Familiarity with Unix Systems
- Hands of SQL and Shell scripting
