Internship Description
Samaya Electronics is looking for Optical Engineering Interns for a 4 weeks Internship at its plant in Nasr City during summer 2016. Accepted interns will join the CTI group (producing and analyzing optical devices, componets and systems) to assist them in:
- Handling budget and expenditure
- Analysing operational issues
- Accessing new processes
- Doing quality checks
- Drafting manufacturing documentation
- Meeting project deadlines
- Analysing data, charts and graphs
Internship Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be undergrads with a major in electronics & communication expected to graduate in 2017 or 2018
- Be punctual and meet deadlines
- Have a solid foundation in optical engineering
- Have good knowledge of the basic of optical devices and systems
- Be able to meet and follow all safety requirements
- Have prior knowledge in quality control
- Have good command of spoken and written english
- Be a team player with demonstrated ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
