Job Description
- Managing operations and maintenance of all data center infrastructure equipment (critical and non-critical)
- Defining and maintaining Data Center processes and procedures
- Managing facilities training program and overall development.
- Schedule and supervise the performance of both routine maintenance and emergency service on critical systems, including: diesel generators, UPS systems, electrical switch gear, power distribution equipment, chillier, HVAC equipment, fire detection/suppression and building monitoring systems.
- Development and management of facilities budget for maintenance, repairs, capital and general operating costs; bottom-up development of yearly budgets.
- Manage local facilities team
- Manage all facilities documentation (planning, development, and implementation)
- Coordination with all other IT Departments
- On-call 24x7 for incident management and Data Center emergency response.
- Responsible for site safety and environmental compliance
- Liaise with AAIB engineering department related to Data Center Improvement activities
- Provide guidelines, training and Standard Operational Procedures to IT Operations and Administration
- Implement data protection policies and compliance policies in coordination with IT Security team
- Implement changes related to Data Center environment in coordination with Change manager
- Participate in problem rout cause analysis related to Data Center environment in coordination with Problem Analyst
- Perform as PM role as part of delivery team during project planning and execution and coordination with Project Manager
- Determine Data Center requirements based on IT departments requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Information Technology Area in domain of Data Center Facility Management experience preferably in a Banking and Finance environment
- Building Managements System Tools monitoring, administration and tuning Skills
- Extensive knowledge of data center critical systems, including: diesel generators, UPS systems, fuel systems, switch gear, power distribution equipment, chillers, computer room air handlers, fire detection/suppression and building monitoring systems
- Excellent communication and excellent analytical skills
- Able to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines and requirements
- Understanding of Event Management and IT Operation Processes
- Certification in Data Center Management like Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP
