Job Description
- Analyze slow moving and obsolete inventory and issue relevant reports.
- Investigate root cause for unfavorable trends; implement corrective actions where appropriate.
- Prepare forecasts and inventories for reports to the company's management team
- Design or implement warehousing strategies.
- Evaluating suppliers and getting alternatives and solutions for improving and expanding the supply chain networks.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors.
- Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
- Manage all supply chain activities for inventory and non-inventory materials
- Coordinate with all supply chain stakeholders to smooth supply activities and control monthly purchases versus the monthly phased budget.
- Overseeing the ordering, packaging process and arrival of shipments.
- Monitoring stock levels and ensures stores have enough stock.
- Tracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination
- Manage relationship with customs clearance and MOH approval service providers and ensuring timely delivery/clearance for imported consignment.
- Develop and suggest ways to improve the current flow process with other departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline is desirable; supply chain and/or procurement related certifications are preferred
- 3+ years of Experience in supply chain or related fields including experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex requirements, market, logistics, and financial information
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A high sense of commitment and responsibility
- Excellent computer skills (eg. Excel, Word)
- Must have strong analytical skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and effective interpersonal skills.
