Project Manager

In this role, the main responsibilities of the position are the following:

• Develop project scope, objectives and deliverables by reviewing project proposals, plans, specifications and contracts and conferring with stakeholders.
• Review project scope for value added suggestions/activities.
• Prepare project schedule and milestones for individual departments by studying project plans, specifications and contracts, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements. Maintain overall project schedule in MS Project.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to individual departments along with appropriate milestones for departmental deliverables.
• Coordinate actions of various departments for efficient and timely project completion.
• Serve as single point of contact for sales, customers and management for project progress. Control and document the communications on each project with the help of individual departments.
• Investigate potential scenarios which may result in cost overruns and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure that the project is delivered on or below budget.
• Ensure that the project is on schedule and completed on time.
• Ensure that the project is conducted in line with the expected quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Manage multiple projects at various phases and in various locations, from project identification through design, planning, client approval, construction and financial closeout.
