Job Description

  • The Accounts Manager will work very closely with the client.
  • As an account Manager you will be overseeing campaigns and retail layouts conception right through delivery.
  • You will be responsible for bringing new business into the agency through the organic growth of client accounts, growth through relationship building. Which will come from a tenacious, passionate and hungry approach to client management.
  • As an account Manager you will be responsible and accountable for overseeing the effective, efficient delivery of all the projects to which you are assigned. Simply put the role is to be the expert in the delivery of the work on time, in budget and to a minimum of an excellent standards.
  • You are a key person in each project since its your responsibility to ensure we keep our promises to our clients.

Detailed key responsibilities include:

  • Agreeing the daily/weekly resource requirements for your projects for creative Studio and strategy with resource management.
  • Collating and preparing detailed estimates/ schedules and fees for sign off by your Accounts Director and presenting it to client.
  • Complete control of timings-both agreed internally as well as those agreed with clients and suppliers.
  • Managing advising and motivating each member of the wider agency team to deliver effectively their key responsibilities for creative, production management, time and budgets.
  • Liaison with the studio to ensure appropriate delivery on time and in budget.
  • Be the recognized owner of / authority on the status of each of your projects and see it through to its completion.
  • The team consists of 3 Account executives, who will report to the account manager directly.
  • The Accounts Manager will report to the Accounts Director.

Job Requirements

Desired skills:
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3- 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of the management skills.

Required skills:

  • As an account manager you will be a strong relationship builder.
  • Must be creative and think outside the box.
  • Must be dedicated and loyal to the organization.
  • Must possess a proven track record in delivering projects, strategic in-put and being commercially savvy, particularly when it comes to identifying new opportunities with clients and being able to understand the client’s proposition.
  • Excellent communicator-imperative that you can simplify the complicated, especially when speaking to clients.
  • Wiling negotiator –must be able to argue your corner on the behalf of your team and client.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to manager multiple projects at the same time by having exceptional prioritization skills.
  • Must understand when to ask for support from the more senior team but always come prepared with their own point of view and solution to the challenge.
  • Should have confidence in dealing with demanding clients and creative teams.
  • Confidence in monitoring and recording financials relating to all aspects of the account, and keeping the Accounts Director updated.
  • Mid-level-Knowledge from a production point of view.
  • This role comes with plenty of scope to progress up the ladder to Senior Accounts Manager level in this growing agency.
