Job Description
Site Engineer Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
- Setting out, leveling and surveying the site;
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant;
- Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- A solid technical background in Energy field, Solar Energy and alternative energy solutions.
- At least a Bachelor Degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics/ Electromechanical* or Electrical ) or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience (Design – Installation) in Solar Water Heater or boilers,pumps and EPC installations
- Minimum three years hands on experience in installations and sites management.
- Team Work ability
- Flexible and adaptable accommodating and responding to the changes in business.
- Good English command (writing and speaking )
- Accepting work in flexible hours and different week days (Week end)
- Skilled office user and CAD
