Job Description
- Review, enter, and pay supplier, stockiest and employee invoices and salaries
- Process customer invoices
- Manage monthly closings
- Cost Control analysis, driving management attention to any cost cutting areas that can be easily done.
- Create general ledger accounts and work on all existing financial statements
- Assist with external audits on an as needed basis
- Review revenue and COGS accounts transactional detail for any irregularities, significant variances, and/or miscoded transactions on a monthly basis.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Some exposure to public accounting is a plus (audit or tax)
- Some combination of the following: Cash/AP/AR or Accountant reconciliation
- Some exposure to the General Ledger
