Job Description
- Responsible for all payroll related duties.
- Responsible for the Treasury.
- Prepare Journal entries to record revenue & expenditure transactions.
- Analyze, reconcile, balance & maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for company & subsidiaries.
- Maintain records of company fixed assets, amortizations & depreciations.
- Monitor & review accounting & related system reports for accuracy & completeness .
- Recommend, develop & maintain financial data bases & manual filing systems.
- Interact with internal & external auditors in completing audits.
- File all required reporting related to registrations & licenses to various agencies.
- Prepare the consolidated annual budget for the company.
Job Requirements
The candidate will need the following skills:
- Communication skills, as the candidate will be communicating with others via email, phone conversations, and meetings. Relaying information clearly and concisely is key.
- General business knowledge is required, as the candidate will interact with different departments and subsidiary companies.
- Strong Information technology expertise is needed, as the candidate will need to use a number of accounting-specific software programs in addition to Microsoft Excel.
- Leadership abilities, as the candidate needs to develop new insights and motivate and engage team members.
- The candidate has to always come up with fresh ideas regarding how the organization can ensure continuity of service and improve compliance procedures as well as address a host of other issues.
