Job Description
A software development startup located in Cairo is looking for a Software engineer to participate in developing and maintaining in-house products with sophisticated technical challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Deployment and Configuration of software on production environments
- Implement user interfaces with advanced user experiences
- Execute full software life-cycle.
- Test software components and integrations
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Skills Required:
- Proven working experience in software engineering with at least one the following programming languages: (PHP, Python, Ruby, JavaScript or Java)
- Hands on experience in designing interactive applications.
- Real life experience in implementing web user interfaces with complicated user experience.
- Professional experience in Linux operating system.
- Experience with multi-tiered architectures.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Team Player.
- Use of NoSQL technologies is a plus.
- Basic Test Driven Development knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, Node JS, Ember, Meteor) is a plus.
