Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in content management, developing strategy and sourcing, negotiating, procuring and implementing mobile content.

The Mobile Content Specialist will be responsible developing the voice for all aspects of the organization’s mobile content management. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with content providers, vendors and technical teams to maintain site standards with regard to new development.

The Online Content Specialist will work closely with technical, business development, and marketing team, so strong communication skills are needed.

The ideal candidate will also have experience managing mobile content and online marketing and outreach campaigns. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines


Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the content management of company web and Mobile Sites.
  • Mobile content licensing and acquisitions from local, regional and international sources.
  • Contract and account manage regional and local content partners and ensure licensing of content for the organization.
  • Plan & implement the marketing programs to stimulate service usage and revenue on mobile contents.
  • Work closely with the mobile product marketing teams to provide content that will be part of the overall solutions being brought to market.
  • Supervise and manage the content management process with content providers, technical teams and back-end system vendors.
  • Testing the sites functionality on different browsers, resolutions, operating systems and mobile handsets.
  • Review and analyse customers' profile for target marketing Monitor competitor’s activities and compare service levels of products among operators.
  • Communicate with internal and external parties for the implementation of marketing plans Review the programme effectiveness by compiling reports and suggest recommendations for improvement.
  • Advise Director on the improvement, results, competition and new direction in technology to assist with marketing of the brand.

Job Requirements

Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other discipline related to the primary responsibilities.


Technical Skills:

  • Maintains a strong understanding of industry and market wide trends.
  • Functional understanding of Internet technology and communication. Experience with blogs, social networking sites, and email list communications.
  • Knowledge of mobile media industry.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
  • Experience on Microsoft office products overall including MS project, MS Front page and MS Visio.

Language Skills:

  • Very good spoken and written English and Arabic.


Specific Experience:

  • 0-3 years experience (2+ years experience is an advantage).
